Downloading SLOTXO: what to check before you install anything
The questions to answer before you tap install, the permissions worth refusing, and why opening a site in a browser is usually the safer route.
What this page covers
This site hosts no installer and links to none. The page explains how to assess, yourself, a file you find somewhere else.
Four questions before you install
If any one of them has no answer, stop
Who publishes the file?
If you cannot say who the file came from, it is not ready to install. A filename is not an answer to this question.
Did it come from a verified address?
A file from a chat-group link or an advert does not pass, however convincing the landing page looks.
What permissions does it ask for?
An app asking to read your messages, your contacts or to use accessibility services should be refused on the spot.
Is there a route that needs no install?
If a browser can open it, that path is always lower risk, because the browser already confines what a page can do.

This site hosts no downloads
This is a static information site. It stores no installer, publishes no file and links to none, which means it cannot vouch for the safety of anything offered elsewhere under the same name.
What the page can do is explain how to assess any file yourself — a skill that applies to every application you will ever install, not only to this one.
Why a browser is usually safer
A web page runs inside limits the browser sets. It cannot reach into your files at will, cannot read your messages, and can be closed with nothing left behind. An installed app operates under nothing like the same constraints.
If the goal is quicker access rather than more capability, every mobile browser can add a page to the home screen. That gets you most of the convenience and none of the extra risk.
If you already installed something and now feel uneasy
Uninstall it first. Then change the password for any account you signed into on that device, and review the permissions your other apps hold. The order matters: changing a password while the app is still installed may achieve nothing.
